Karen is a wonderful teacher who is able to adapt her approach to meet students' needs. My son is dyslexic and struggled with concentration and confidence when learning. Karen made his lessons fun, energetic, and appropriate to his level and needs. His confidence with Spanish is much improved.

Karen has taught my daughter for a year. At the end of each week there has been follow up links, exercises and feedback. Honestly cannot recommend her highly enough. She has been absolutely terrific. She has helped with writing, listening and language. Highly recommend!

Karen is very dedicated to her students. I have found her extremely helpful, patient and knowledgeable. She has helped me particularly to improve my spoken Spanish at a close to intermediate level simply by being someone who is not a native speaker and therefore appreciates the challenges to gaining confidence and has the time to correct mistakes when they occur.

Would really recommend Karen for anyone wanting some help with Spanish. Due to lockdown we felt that a block of 10 sessions over the summer would help my eldest to get her confidence back. She found all the sessions really helpful and learned a lot of tips for her GCSE. Her manner is really calm and encouraging which is great for nervous or shy students. So pleased we found her- many thanks!

My husband and I have almost completed our first block of ten lessons and are loving it. Karen makes each lesson interesting with super fun ways of learning - we've discovered our Portuguese is slightly better than our pictionary!
We started with face to face lessons and then moved online since the lockdown and the lessons have been equally as good. Karen has tailored our lessons to both our goals and skillset. And having started with next to no vocabulary, we can both now listen and broadly understand basic conversations. We look forward to every lesson each week and very much look forward to the next block of ten lessons. Would thoroughly recommend if looking to learn Spanish or Portuguese.
